What the free plan is
The rest of this semester. Free.
A term is the only unit of time that means anything in a classroom. Nobody can judge this in fourteen days, because in fourteen days you have barely set the first assignment. So tell us when your semester ends, and EssayGuard is free until that day for every course you teach, with every session recorded in full and nothing that quietly degrades halfway through.
The clock is the calendar, not your signup date. Start this week and the whole term is free. Start in November and November is what you get. Starting now gets you the most free time.
Buying for a department
Integrity cases deserve better evidence than a percentage.
Cases arriving at an integrity office right now tend to rest on an instructor’s impression plus a detector percentage. Both are contestable, and increasingly both are contested. The office ends up adjudicating a disagreement about a number rather than a question about a document. The Department and Campus plans exist to change what those cases are made of.
For the chair
Fewer cases that fall apart under scrutiny, and a consistent standard of evidence across sections taught by very different instructors. A chair view across the department is coming soon.

How does free for the rest of this semester work?
When you sign in for the first time we ask one question: when does your semester end? Pick any date up to 120 days out, and everything is free until then. The date is set once, so the free period cannot be pushed out later, and it runs once per teacher rather than once per term.
What happens when it ends?
To keep creating assignments, continue on your own with Educator at $99 a year, or bring in your department. Everything you recorded stays where it is. If your institution takes the license, you never pay out of pocket.
Can I upgrade in the middle of a term?
Yes, and your existing sessions come with you. Upgrading does not restart anything or lose the record of work already done.
What happens to my sessions if I stop paying?
Everything you recorded stays where it is. Records are kept for 90 days by default, and we do not hold a student’s record hostage to an invoice. The refunds and cancellation page has the detail.
Is there an education discount?
Every price on this page is the education price. There is no other kind of customer.
Can we pay by purchase order?
Department and campus plans can be invoiced against a PO and aligned to your fiscal year. Reach out and we will send what your procurement office needs.
